It may have rained on Saturday (Sept. 21st), but the enthusiasm for walking Cora’s beautiful Woods was not dampened!

Both the 8am and 10am walks, hosted by Gary Bugg, LPMS President, and guided by LPMS board member, ecologist and ornithologist, Doug McRae took place as planned. Although rainy, the conditions were warm and convivial and everyone was game to set off for the one and a half hour tour which meandered through the various wooded areas and along the ravine of this spectacular property, generously donated by the late Cora Munn and her family. With Doug as our guide, the woods came alive as we learned about the flora and fauna we encountered along the way. There was laughter and conversation…and of course a chance to pay homage to all of Gary’s favourite trees! Thanks to everyone who joined us!
